Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and most recently John Rahm have all been kicked out of the PGA after deciding to join Liv Golf. After almost two years of fighting, the battle between the two tournaments seems to be about to end.
Last June, the PGA Tour announced it had begun negotiations with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) to bring professional golf together around the world. As part of the settlement, players who convert LIV are expected to regain their PGA Tour playing privileges. One critic of the main group was McIlroy, but the Northern Irishman has softened his stance in the past month.
