GOLF FANS STUNNED WHERE TIGER WOODS WILL MOVE IN OWGR IF WINS ON PGA TOUR RETURN

Tiger Woods may currently have one of the worst Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) rankings of his golf career, but that could all change if he wins his return to the PGA Tour at this week’s Genesis Invitational. Woods, 48, will begin his first official PGA Tour in 10 months at the famous Riviera.

The former world number one drew attention this week when he teamed up with TaylorMade to unveil his Sun Day Red brand. Woods is currently ranked 893rd in the world, but his ranking could change significantly if he wins his 83rd PGA Tour title on Sunday.

He currently has 82 PGA Tour wins, tied with the late Sam Snead. If Woods wins the 2024 Genesis Invitational, his OWGR ranking will rise 839 spots to No. 54.

Woods dropped below 1,200 strokes for the first time in his career in 2022. Woods’ win this week was surprising to say the least. Especially considering he’s been out of contention on the PGA Tour for so long.
