The head of the group of this group has confirmed that Bahrain will go to the test.

Before the beginning of June 2024, the RB20 official launched a car, and Christian Chorner started the first form of the first average, because the first media began to appear in partners.

Khorner Horner mentioned that he refused to blame the media, but was ready to complete the research interviewed in eight hours. The program begins with pre-season testing in Bahrain next week and the 51-year-old has confirmed his participation, doubling his 20-year commitment to the British manufacturer.

Horner said he was focusing on work as usual but had received “overwhelming” support from colleagues and peers. Here, Mail Sport shares the full transcript of Horner’s press conference held at Red Bull’s headquarters in Milton Keynes.

How were the last few days? Your name is in the spotlight and it’s not easy to deal with the news.

My focus is mainly on the upcoming season. Of course, it’s great to see the car running at Silverstone for the first time.

It was great to see the 20th edition of our Red Bull car today. Of course, that process (internal investigation) was going on in the background.

Of course, there is also the day-to-day work of preparing for the upcoming season. Christian Horner says he has the full support of his wife Geri as the Red Bull boss speaks out for the first time since allegations of ‘inappropriate behaviour’.

Do you feel supported in the factory and among everyone in the industry?

I feel supported by my company, partners and industry. It’s really good. The process is currently ongoing. Some allegations have been made, which I have completely denied and I have fully followed this process and will continue to do so. You can expect the CEO to be removed while the allegations are investigated. Why wasn’t this done at Red Bull? I think that’s pretty clear. From Red Bull’s perspective, of course, it was “business as usual”. The allegations (investigation) are a process that Red Bull is going through and (although the process is externally confirmed) as you know there is clearly more to be done and I have completely denied the allegations and my role continues.

Was it a distraction? I believe moments of uncertainty unite us. I have never seen a more united and supportive team than Red Bull.

Everyone is focused on one thing and that is the performance of the cars to defend the two world titles that we have been working hard for for many years. So everyone is invested in the car and I can’t wait to see it in action next week in Bahrain.

Think you’ll stand up in your first race? I believe in the lawsuit, I am cooperating with that lawsuit, and I categorically deny all the allegations that have been made to date.

Of course, I will continue this process. What will the future look like? Do you think you can do this long term? I am fully committed to this team. I’ve been here from the beginning. I created this team. There have been highs and lows along the way. I won 113 races. He won seven World Drivers’ Championships. We won our sixth World Constructors’ Championship on June 19, which is a place in the history books.

But that’s up front because it’s important. So my focus is on the future. Red Bull Powertrain’s will to become a startup engine company. We have a high-tech business system that produces Red Bull cars, and of course there’s a lot going on on campus as well.

Christian Horner to attend RB20 launch despite allegations

While this is happening in the background, is it “business as usual” as you say? We will continue to do this until the process is complete, the internal process. I cannot tell you what this process consists of. Rod Stewart and Gary Barlow performed at the 50th birthday party, but is it party over for Red Bull boss Christian Horner amid allegations of ‘alarming behaviour’?

Did you drive every day? Yes, starting January 8th. I work in the office. Can you quit?

I denied the allegations. For me, it’s “business as usual”. Otherwise I wouldn’t be here.

How hard was it? I don’t want to talk about the process so my focus and commitment is on the team and making sure we are in the best possible shape for the season ahead.

You’ll notice that we have cars that look like they’ve come a long way from last year and that we have competitive racers that want to beat us. So next week we will focus on Bahrain.

(Focusing on early season) Was it helpful? That’s why we’re here. This is a big team. This is one of the biggest sports teams in the world and the way we work has always been one of our strengths. I had great stability. Staff turnover was very low.

We’ve had great continuity over the years. People work here because they like working here. They love working here and share the passion, the passion to compete and compete against such stiff competition. When contacted by the media, Horner did not say when the trial would end.

Do you feel you have support from the senior figures at Red Bull?

The support we’ve seen from shareholders has been incredible. I think you can see the commitment that Formula 1 has shown from Red Bull Powertrains to Red Bull Advanced Technologies in terms of shareholder support after the death of Dietrich Mateschitz.

We are a team and this support was very evident. How worried are you about the damage this will do to Red Bull and F1?

I don’t think I’m going to comment on that because obviously you have to go through that process. I won’t talk about it until the trial is over.

Are there any signs of when this might happen? It must have run its course. But I do not know.

I am fully committed to this team. We put together this team to convince people to come and work here. I like to work in a team. People are the greatest asset of this group. They are people. That is still the case. Following the unveiling of the RB20, Horner confirmed he will travel to Bahrain next week for pre-season testing.

Are you in Bahrain?

Yes. You didn’t think you’d ever join the team in the last 20 years, did you?

Not. My loyalty to this team has always been absolute. I think I’ve seen it through good times and bad. There has always been dedication in this team. It’s very personal because I personally invested a lot of money in it.
