Never seen anything like it’: Geoff Ogilvy on shocking Tiger Woods feat

I’ve never seen anything like this: Geoff Ogilvie talks about Tiger Woods’ shocking feats

“No, I don’t know if I would have wanted to meet Tiger Woods in his prime,” Ogilvy says. “Well, I did it for the experience, but I didn’t intend to win it.” No one was going to hit him. I don’t know, but he was special. ”

Ogilvy, the 2006 U.S. Open champion and eight-time PGA Tour winner, joins this week’s episode of Golf’s Subpar Podcast to discuss course design, the evolution of broadcasting, the difficult future of professional golf, and more. I did, but a lot of the conversation focused on what it was. He likes playing against and with Woods. Woods, 48, is about a year and a half older than Ogilvy, and Ogilvy remembers watching the 16-year-old Woods make his PGA Tour debut at the 1992 Australian Los Angeles Open as a child. The show’s hosts spoke passionately about Woods’ bright future.
