Lewis Hamilton has shown that he is in another direction in an installation compared to George Russell’s teammates to become stronger at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Saturday.
Hamilton starts at 3:00 pm at Sky Sports F1, starts 9th in the season after the disappointed qualification. However, Russell qualified third and was just 0.078 seconds off the front row when Max Verstappen beat Charles Leclerc to take pole position.
“That wasn’t good. But I’m really happy to be here,” Hamilton told Sky Sports F1.
“George’s positioning and pace really stood out and I think it was a testament to how hard everyone worked over the winter. It’s great to have a car that can compete.
“It really connects the fire within us as drivers. “In my opinion, it was tough to qualify because Bono (Peter Bonnington) and everyone else did a great job.”
