Rory McIlroy returns to golf as PGA Tour star and earns bragging rights over Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods, the 82-time PGA Tour winner, returned to the golf course on Monday after playing in the Pro Member event at Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, Florida.

 

Rory McIlroy competed in the Seminole Pro Member Tournament in Florida on Monday, earning bragging rights over his best friend and business partner Tiger Woods.

The pro-am event drew many names from the golf and business worlds, with seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady joining Woods and McIlroy. Woods partnered with PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh, and McIlroy had the opportunity to play alongside his father, Jerry.

Although neither pair was able to win the tournament, the McIlroy duo managed to beat Woods and Waugh and finished 22nd in the standings (after handicap), one step ahead of the American pair. .
