Tiger Woods Not Listed In Players Championship Field After Missing Friday Deadline
Tiger Woods is not on the championship roster because he missed Friday’s deadline.
The 15-time major champion has won the PGA Tour’s flagship event twice, but hasn’t played in a tournament since 2019.
After withdrawing from the Genesis Invitational in February due to the flu, it has been confirmed that 15-time major champion Tiger Woods will not compete in The Players Championship after missing Friday night’s entry deadline.
The two-time Players Championship winner hasn’t appeared on the PGA Tour’s crown jewel since 2019, when he finished T30, but for reasons unknown at this time, Woods is not on the TPC Sawgrass roster. His absence is expected to continue until 2024.
