Nick Eugene Dinmore: “Failing the Dark Test and leaving WWE was a good thing”
Nick Dinsmore worked for WWE in the early 2000s under the name “Eugene” until he was fired from the company in 2007.
On a recent episode of the Developmentally Speaker podcast, Dinsmore talked about leaving WWE, why he thinks it’s the right move for him, and more. You can check out some highlights from the podcast below.
When he left the company, he said, “I was released because I didn’t comply with the health policy. I know it was probably the best policy for me at the time. I didn’t know what to do after that. Then the phone started ringing for independent shows and I ended up doing about as much work on independent shows as I did with WWE.
When he returned to the company as a coach in 2013, “they said I was on the shortlist of players they wanted to hire and I was the only one on the shortlist,” Dinsmore said. . “They were in the process of moving from FCW in Tampa to the Performance Center in Orlando and wanted to build a great coaching staff and invited me there.
