Francis Ngannou told his excuse for losing to Anthony Joshua is “baffling”

Francis Ngannou’s excuse for loss to Anthony Joshua is ‘confusing’

Ngannou lost to Joshua in just two rounds earlier this month, and has since made a long list of excuses for his defeat.

Former UFC champion Ngannou was knocked out twice by Joshua in a fight earlier this month before ‘AJ’ ended the show with a powerful right hand in the second round. Since then, Ngannou has offered a long list of excuses for the loss, even blaming the timing of his arrival on the Saudi stage for tiring him. “I remember sitting in the locker room and trying to warm up, but I couldn’t. I fell asleep. I was sweating but fell asleep. I got the schedule and the email, but for some reason I got to [the arena] at least an hour early. However, you need at least two hours before the game. They do things like this to tire you out,” Ngannou said.
