Luke Littler has had a hectic 2024 and due to fears that the 17-year-old could burn out, his management team have insisted his schedule is being managed carefully

The manager of Luke Littler has claimed the teenager’s darts schedule is being handled cautiously due to fears of burnout.

The 17-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the sport following his memorable run at Ally Pally of the PDC World Darts Championship where he lost the thrilling final to world number one Luke Humphries.

Since the final – where he became the youngest player ever to reach that stage of the competition – the teenager sensation has earned £357,000 in prize money and become champion of both the Bahrain Masters and the Belgian Darts Open.

 

 

The Warrington wonderkid has been a regular on the arduous PDC circuit this year where he’s travelled across numerous countries in Europe and Asia. His heroics has seen his claim national fame which has resulted in Littler making appearances on BBC’s Comic Relief, ITV’s Jonathan Ross Show and Sky Sports’ Fantasy Football League.

 

 

With worries that the teen may be biting off more than he can chew so early on in his career, manager Martin Foulds of ZXF Sports Management insisted that the teenager’s schedule is being closely managed.
