Around 40,000 fans reportedly rushed to see Shakira perform at the TSX Stage in Times Square on Tuesday night after she announced the pop-up show on her account hours earlier.

The 47-year-old Colombian singer caused irritation in the audience when the stage door opened around 7:30 p.m. Fan favorite “Hips Don’t Lie” blasts through the crowded streets of Manhattan. Wearing black pants and a top with silver embellishments, she wowed fans with hits like “TQM,” “Cómo Dónde y Cuándo,” “Te Felicito” and “Puntería.”
The three-time Grammy winner closed the show with her hit “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 2.” 53 inches.
“I’m happy to be here, surrounded by Latinos,” Shakira told her adoring fans. The concert commemorates the release of her new album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (“Women Don’t Cry Anymore”), which was released on streaming platforms on Friday.

According to the publication, this will be the singer’s first album release in seven years. The performance came just one day after Shakira appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Fallon said the Colombian superstar was already a believer less than three days after the film’s release. He revealed that he had achieved an unprecedented feat.
“Within 24 hours of release, this album was already the most streamed album of 2024,” the talk show host said. “I’ve already gone platinum 7 times!”
