Tiger Woods was spotted practicing at Augusta just two weeks before the start of the Masters. The 48-year-old hasn’t competed since withdrawing from the Genesis Invitational in February due to the flu.
Woods returned earlier this month to play professionally for the Seminoles alongside his friend and business partner Rory McIlroy. Unlike McIlroy, Woods did not compete in the Arnold Palmer Invitational or The Players Championship to aid his recovery.

Woods is currently seen on a scouting mission to Augusta. His Gulfstream His G550 was spotted on his way to Augusta. Sports Illustrated reported that he played with club president Fred Ridley and fellow pro Justin Thomas. This will be Woods’ 26th appearance in the tournament and his second of the year. If he plays the Masters, the five-time Masters champion will break the record. He has finished in the top spot 24 times in a row since 1997, when he won his first green jacket. Woods has only missed once, in 1996.
After about 30 years, he will be back again. Woods, who said he intended to play a tournament every month this year, seems willing to accept that his March plans didn’t go through, with the exception of the Seminoles.

“I think once a month is reasonable,” Woods said of last year’s playing schedule. “It’s going to take a few weeks to recover and a week to adjust. Maybe I can find a rhythm.”
It’s been almost a year since Woods admitted before the last Masters that he didn’t know how much longer he could play. A few days later, Woods withdrew from the tournament midway through the tournament due to a weather-related injury.
And the following month, he underwent spinal fusion surgery on his arthritic right ankle.
