F1 playboy Eddie Irvine got into a scrap with motorsport legend Ayrton Senna during his first race.
Irvine earned a reputation for being a bit of a joker, to say the least, during his time in Formula One from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s. And the Northern Irishman soon got under the skin of Senna at the Japanese Grand Prix.
He got his big chance to race in F1 when Eddie Jordan let him drive at the tricky Suzuka track in 1993. He had previously been competing in the Japanese F3000 series, so he knew the circuit pretty well.
