Wrexham thrashed Crawley Town 4-1 in League Two and co-owner Ryan Reynolds has dropped his verdict.
On Tuesday night, Wrexham thrashed Crawley Town 4-1 to move closer to sealing promotion to League One.
Phil Parkinson executed a plan to play on the counter-attack against the play-off chasers, as despite having 33% of the ball at home, they exploited the visitors’ inefficiencies.
Ryan Barnett scored his first goal for the club while a Paul Mullin brace and a calm finish from Andy Cannon left supporters delighted with their performance.
Wrexham showed that on their day, they’re capable of blowing away any team in the division and continuing that trend will be crucial against Forest Green on Saturday.
The Reds can confirm promotion to the third tier if they win at the STōK Cae Ras and MK Dons lose against Mansfield Town.

Ryan Reynolds reacts to Wrexham’s 4-1 thrashing of Crawley Town
After coming from behind against Colchester United last weekend, thrashing Crawley felt like a giant leap towards promotion.
Although he wasn’t present at the game, he posted on his story after the match to give his instant reaction. He said: “Big win today. VERY big”.
Following their nail-biting title win last term, Wrexham look more equipped in this situation than any other team with most of their players experiencing promotion in the past.
Phil Parkinson reaches 100 wins as Wrexham manager
The result wasn’t the only positive from last night as three points gave Parkinson his 100th win as Wrexham manager.
Appointed as manager in July 2021, the former Bradford City boss has taken charge of 162 matches at Wrexham and reached the century mark for wins.
He deserves huge credit, particularly in recent weeks, as his tactical decisions have driven his side towards the verge of promotion.
Parkinson played it to perfection with his tactics last night, initiating a press that Crawley couldn’t deal with while hitting them quickly on the counter-attack.
The 56-year-old also deserves immense credit for his personnel changes recently, making the bold decision to drop Will Boyle and slot Tom O’Connor into centre-back while choosing to start Barnett over Luke Bolton.
Those big calls have inadvertently worked to perfection, as O’Connor has looked tremendous in defence while Barnett’s goal last night suggests he’s playing confidently.
