It is easy to see how Woods ended up in the trees on the ninth hole

It was a busy day for Woods as he had to finish five holes from round one after bad weather called a halt to play early on Thursday.

That might have affected Woods’ game as he found his ball nestled in between the trees on Hole 9.

His recovery shot fared no better too as it landed amongst spectators, possibly hitting one in the head.

Woods, 48, still managed to par the hole and had a successful day, finishing one over par after hitting 72.

“I’m here. I have a chance to win the golf tournament. I got my two rounds in. I just need some food and some caffeine, and I’ll be good to go.
