Tiger Woods’ Kids Sam and Charlie Once Crushed the Golfer’s Heart With a Painful Joke Involving Soccer Star Lionel Messi

Tiger Woods is known as one of the greatest golfers in the history of sports. The 15-time major winner has more records than most other golf stars on the field. Woods has made tons of fans in his career, including his children Sam and Charlie Woods.

However, there was a time when the two hurt the golfer with a heavy joke involving legendary soccer player, Lionel Messi.

Sam and Charlie crack a huge joke with father Tiger Woods

After his divorce from Elin Nordegren, Woods has been trying his best to make time for his kids. The golfer once expressed how much he loved playing golf with his children. Sam and Charlie are probably Woods’ biggest supporters on and off the field. However, being so close to the golfer, the two once cracked a joke.

While Woods was suffering from a back injury, he took a break from professional golf for some time. The golf legend had to miss out on playing at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas. However, his children had something else on their mind.

The two were sitting in an interview along with their father when a reporter asked them an expectedly tough question. But for Sam and Charlie, it was not at all difficult as people thought it would be. The reporter asked who the children would want to be if they had to choose between Woods on the field or Lionel Messi on the pitch.

And without taking any time, the two said “Messi”. It was already hard enough for the golf pro to take for a joke, but it was not all. Adding to their answer, Charlie said, “He’s playing,”.

How is Woods’ relationship with his kids?

If there is one thing that Tiger Woods loves to do when he’s not playing golf, it’s spending time with his kids. Woods and his ex-wife Nordegren got divorced earlier. However, the two have tried their best to not let it affect their children.

Nordgren too believes that the golfer is an amazing father to their kids. Charlie and Woods often practice golf together and even played as a father-son duo at the PNC Championship once.
