It’s easy to see how Woods ended up in a tree on the 9th hole.
It was a busy day for Woods as he had to complete five holes of the first round after play was suspended early Thursday morning due to inclement weather. This may have affected Woods’ play, as it turned out his ball got stuck between trees on the hole.
His recovery kick also went awry, hitting between the spectators and possibly the head.
The 48-year-old Woods still managed to par the hole and had a successful day, shooting a 72 to f
inish 1 over par.
