Woods, at 48, caused a stir last year by ending his 27-year partnership with sports giant Nike. Earlier this year, the 82-time PGA Tour winner confirmed the launch of his own golf clothing and footwear brand, Sun Day Red, a name inspired by his tradition of wearing red on Sundays during tournaments. The brand’s logo features a tiger with 15 stripes, symbolizing Woods’ 15 major titles.

In a compelling nine-minute interview with Daly, the former World No.1 discussed various aspects of the game, including his upbringing in golf, his views on current World No.1 Scottie Scheffler, alternative career paths, potential tournament schedules, and his relationship with his children, Samantha and Charlie. He expressed regret that his father, Earl, wasn’t alive to meet Charlie. Woods also mentioned his goal to redefine the Sun Day Red logo.

Despite a disappointing 60th place finish at The Masters last month, Woods remains hopeful for the upcoming majors: the US PGA, US Open, and The Open, scheduled over the next three months. Speculation swirls whether Woods could secure another major victory and add another stripe to his logo. While some believe his prime golfing days are behind him, his surprise win at the 2019 Masters keeps hope alive for fans and pundits. Perhaps his next opportunity at the US PGA at Valhalla, a course where he previously triumphed in 2000, will yield another historic victory.
