Jordan Spieth has revealed something about Scottie Scheffler that he’s really not enjoying at the moment

Jordan Spieth revealed what he doesn’t like about Scottie Scheffler right now.

It’s been a mixed start to the season for the three-time major champion. He had three top-10 finishes with three misses, including Friday’s outing at Augusta.

Spieth’s final performance at RBC Heritage was also disappointing. His final score was 6 under, which looks good on paper. However, the 30-year-old saved 13 shots from Scheffler in the eventual winner. With a second major of the year clearly in sight, Spieth will compete in the Byron Nelson Tournament this week as he looks to get back into shape for the PGA Championship at Valhalla.

What did Jordan Spieth say about Scottie Scheffler? Golf fans are all saying the same thing about Chicago’s LIV Golf’s newest selection.

Scottie Scheffler waves to fans after birdieing the 18th hole during the third round of the RBC Heritage Tournament at the Harbor.

Speaking before this week’s tournament at TPC Craig Ranch north of Dallas, Spieth said he was happy with Scheffler’s performance because the two-time Masters winner is in good form. “I’ve known Scotty since he was very young,” he said [Image via TenGolf]. “I wasn’t, but he was very, very young. I think he’s a better person than a player.

“And then after meeting a guy and realizing how good of a fit that person was for him, he went to the University of Texas. I’m very excited and happy for him and that Of course.”

Spieth also suggested he was inspired by Scheffler’s current level of performance. “On the one hand, it’s the first time I see someone younger than me and it’s inspiring. I’m inspired by what he’s doing. It makes me want to go out and improve,” And it was always someone older than me. “It’s the first time I’ve felt this way against a younger player, especially since I’ve played him quite a few games here in town.”

But the 30-year-old also admitted it’s “tiresome” to see the 27-year-old dominate every week.

“I’m always watching him and I’m trying to beat him but it sucks when he plays better than me,” he explained. “I don’t like being there, because no matter how many years we live, it’s not. I feel like it’s backward and there’s a lot of opportunity to get it back, but at the same time I get inspired by trying. “There is nothing in my image. I believe in my ceiling and I think my ceiling is as high as someone. “I have to take every part of my game to the ceiling. There are some areas that are currently in development and some where I need to reach this goal. I think we can run together.

How can we stop Scheffler from winning another major championship in Valhalla? His consistency and ball-striking are second to none, meaning it would take something special to stop him from landing a third big. I feel like one of the elite players has to be on the field. Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Jon Rahm, and Spieth are just a few names who can match Scheffler’s level at their best. This is definitely an interesting time. Such control has not been seen since the time of Plum Tiger Woods. It’s not bad for those who are constantly competing with the cheper.
