When the split decision was announced, giving Usyk the win, footage showed his father’s famously depressed reaction to the result. He is seen looking miserable and upset before turning away from the ring as his previously undefeated son is destined to suffer his first professional loss.
Fury’s father has yet to speak publicly since the loss, but there is no doubt he would be proud of Tyson’s resilience despite the defeat.
