The 48-year-old was a prodigy who was taught golf at the age of two by his ex-military father, Earl Woods.

Earl’s brutal ways left an indelible mark on the young cub, arguably transforming him into one of the sport’s most brutal athletes. Woods’ precocious talent was evident from the start, and he appeared in a Los Angeles television report featuring several children at a local driving range.

Mike Douglas, host of the television show The Mike Douglas Show, watched the segment and noticed that one young man in particular stood out and invited him on the show. This young man was a two -year -old Taiger Woods, who went to the show with his father Earl the same day when the actor Bob Hope and actor Jimmy Stuart were also in the studio.

A shy young man entered a studio with a red cap and a golf bag before hitting a few bullets from an artificial carpet for a lawn and making several shots. “I remember seeing this in the student lounge of my dorm during my senior year of college. I remember thinking to myself, ‘I have to keep an eye on this kid…'” A fan said so. “It’s incredible to see the legendary birth,” said another person.

In an interview in 2000, Douglas discussed with Woods and asked Cincinnati to ask how he found it for the first time. “(Tiger) stood out like a sore thumb, because they all swayed like babies, and he swung as he does now,” he recalls.

After appearing in his show, Douglas said: “Tiger hit two balls at 10 feet beyond the hole, then walked and placed a golf ball on the cup lip. The studio yelled; Mr. Hope has dubbed laughing. “”

Michael Bamberger, author of The Second Life of Tiger Woods, thought: “If you look at the 2 year old TIG field

“Of course, he has no idea that Bob Hope and Jimmy Stuart are badges, and why?” Their role is to watch over it.

“He has a natural rhythm and is very similar to how his father used the putter at the time. Of course the club is too difficult for him.

“I picture Tiger watching Mike Douglas’ shots that he makes. He likes the rhythm, he likes the way the first movement goes inside. It makes sense.” He’s on the inside, but his body rotates. ”

Three years later, at the age of 5, Woods appeared on the TV show “It’s Unbelievable” on a segment hosted by Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Fran Tarkenton.

Since then, Woods has taken the junior golf world by storm, winning the World Junior Championship six times, including four in a row from 1988 to 1991. After participating in Stanford University, he became an expert in 1996 and commemorated the beginning of a legendary professional career.

Unfortunately, Woods is no longer a golf exceptional force. Age, injuries and personal issues contributed to his decline, but a new generation of golf stars has taken over the world number one spot. 1 Scotty Scheffler is having some fun in the sun. Woods missed this week’s PGA Championship after leaving the tournament with a 7-over-par lead after a disastrous second round.

Despite the disappointment, Tiger’s legacy lives on. Photos from his youth remind us of how amazing his journey has been.
