Adam Sandler has revealed that he would like 15-time major champion Tiger Woods to play an actor in a possible sequel to the popular golf movie “Happy Gilmore.”
A sequel to the golf movie Happy Gilmore is reportedly in development, and director Adam Sandler is hoping to cast one of golf’s greatest players in a key role.
During a recent appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Sandler discussed the possibility of Tiger Woods appearing in the film. “I’m happy about that. You’ll see that,” he said of the rise of the potential 15-time major champion. “I’m going to write down all my dreams. I don’t know what will happen after that. But we’ll try.”
Woods isn’t the only professional golfer for whom Sandler has a clear role. The actor revealed that John Daly may also appear in the film, adding that the 58-year-old’s unique antics on the golf course were the inspiration for the original story.
