Rory McIlroy has shamelessly revealed to his ex-wife Erica Stoll that he plans to divorce her.

The 35-year-old PGA Tour star filed for divorce from Ms. Stoll, 36, after seven years of marriage, just 24 hours after winning the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte.
However, it has emerged that the four-time major winner had hired a police officer to deliver divorce papers to Ms. Stoll’s parents’ home. According to court documents, Stoll, a New York native, was served with legal papers by a Palm Beach Police officer who also handles the CW Services & Associates case.
Woods showed up unannounced at the McIlroys’ $22 million Jupiter mansion at 10:30 a.m. ET on May 13 and handed Stoll a copy of McIlroy’s divorce papers.
