Oh Oh Oh, Rory McIlroy’s divorce from Erica Stoll shines a light on ‘hard life’ of Golf WAGs with stars surrounded by ‘hangers on and beautiful women
Alas, Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll’s divorce sheds light on the “tough life” of a celebrity golfer surrounded by “beautiful women to cling to.”
The summons describes Stoll as a white, blonde-haired, thin woman, 30 years old, 5’7″ to 5’8″.
The four-time major champion digitally signed the divorce papers on May 9 while playing in the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow, where he won by five strokes over Xander Schauffele, according to court records. Stoll, who shares a three-year-old daughter Poppy with the professional golfer, has 20 days to file a written response to the petition with the circuit court clerk from the day she was served, according to the documents.
\’A phone call will not protect you,\’ the summons read. “If you want the court to hear your side of the case, you must file a written answer including the case number and the names of the parties above.”
“If you fail to file an answer by the deadline, you will lose your case and may subsequently have your wages, money and property confiscated without notice to the court. “There are other legal requirements, so you might want to call a lawyer right away. If you do not know a lawyer, you can call a lawyer referral service or legal aid office (listed in the telephone directory).
As of May 29, Stoll had not yet responded.
Court documents filed in Palm Beach County on May 13 and obtained by DailyMail.com indicate their marriage was “irretrievably broken.” Stoll was exclusively spotted filling up his car with gas in Jupiter, Florida on May 23.
