Amanda Balionis is one of the most recognisable faces in golf broadcasting and recently saw a surge in popularity after rumours she was dating Rory McIlroy were quashed

Amanda Balionis enjoyed a trip to Las Vegas with friends before returning to CBS Sports for the John Deere Classic.

Although the PGA Tour event in Illinois teed off on Thursday, CBS wont broadcast until Saturday, leaving Balionis to experience some well-deserved leisure time. She did confirm her attendance at the John Deere Classic after last Sunday’s Rocket Mortgage Classic, saying: “That is a wrap from Detroit with the best traveling circus, see ya in Silvis, Illinois squad!”

Her Instagram lit up with snapshots of Vegas antics, including nightclub vibes and a friendly reminder note to “drink water” amid the fun. It seems Balionis savoured her break, indulging in a bit of clubbing at On The Record Speakeasy And Club.

She also shared a summery poem – called ‘Enjoy Summer’ – with her followers. A known figure in the golf broadcasting circuit, Balionis has recently been tangled in rumours linking her romantically to four-time major winner Rory McIlroy.

However, these rumours were quickly quashed, with US Weekly claiming the pair enjoy a “professional working relationship” and nothing romantic. McIlroy recently patched things up with his wife Erica Stoll after filing for divorce on May 13.

In the divorce documents, it was claimed that the marriage had hit rock bottom, with Stoll spotted in the Sunshine State minus her wedding ring. McIlroy and Balionis are known to have a chummy rapport, both in front of the cameras and away from them.

Gossip went into overdrive when Balionis ditched her ring. Whispers started to swirl that her marriage to former NFL star Bryn Renner is over. With these two separate events coinciding, fans were quick to cook up rumours linking McIlroy with Balionis.

Yet McIlroy’s marriage to Stoll is now back on. He’s also lashed out at the unfounded rumours directly, laying down his stance clearly to The Guardian. “There have been rumours about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate,” McIlroy stated.

“Responding to each rumour is a fool’s game. Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realised that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning.”

It was the most memorable moment of my career.” Brought up in China’s southern Guangdong province, neighbouring Hong Kong, an 18-year-old Feng became the first Chinese player to earn an LPGA tour card in 2007. The easy-going Feng went on to be the first Chinese player, man or woman, to win a major and lifted 10 LPGA titles during her 14 active years on the tour. In 2017, Feng became the only Chinese golfer to date to reach the world No 1 ranking. During a supremely consistent career, Feng registered 18 top-10 finishes in majors, two of them in 2021 even as she was winding down her playing commitments.
