Rory Makilra and his wife, Erica Stall, were recently seen, enjoying at night in London with the teammates of the Cup of Ryder Makilroly, after their unexpected decision can be canceled. The 35 -year -old North Irish golf, 35 years old, filed for divorce from Erica, 36 years old, in May, just a few days before the PGA championship. But surprisingly, a month later he reversed his decision, saying “their best future is to remain together as a family.” The couple have a three-year-old daughter, Poppy.
McIlroy’s London appearances have been a rare public sight since their reconciliation. They joined McIlroy’s Ryder Cup teammates and partners for the party. Diane Donald, wife of European team captain Luke Donald, shared a photo of the group on Instagram with the song “We Are Family” playing in the background. The meeting included Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood, Nikolaj Hojgaard and Tyrrell Hatton.
Although the exact location of their dinner in London remains unknown, it’s clear the group enjoyed their time together. Erica sat further back at the table, between Wendy Lawley and Diane Donald, and was joined in the group by other partners including Claire Fleetwood and Amanda Falkenburg.
The London outing was one of the couple’s few public appearances since their reunion. McIlroy was spotted with his daughter in Juno Beach, Florida, in June, shortly after his disappointing performance at the U.S. Open. The family outing, with both wearing wedding rings, marked a belated Father’s Day celebration. McIlroy decided to annul his divorce after a series of private meetings at his Florida home, which initially focused on co-parenting Poppy. Those talks ultimately led to the couple’s reconciliation. This dramatic reversal came less than a month after Erica was served with divorce papers at their home in Jupiter, Florida. McIlroy’s attorney filed a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal in Palm Beach County Courthouse on June 11, officially ending the divorce proceedings. The reunion dinner also celebrated Europe’s Ryder Cup team’s victory over the United States last September, with McIlroy and his teammates reflecting on the 16.5-11.5 victory in Rome. Luke Donald, who led the team to victory, has been confirmed for a second term and the U.S. team is expected to announce a new captain soon after Tiger Woods reportedly declined the role. Overall, the dinner was a joyous occasion, highlighting McIlroy and Erica’s renewed commitment to their families and their enduring bonds with friends and teammates.
