Scottie Scheffler’s incredible 2024 PGA Tour season was capped off on Sunday, after the world No. 1 landed the first FedEx Cup title of his career by winning the Tour Championship

 

Scottie Scheffler’s remarkable 2024 PGA Tour campaign has seen him become the third biggest earner in Tour history, despite still being just 28 years old.

Scheffler has been head and shoulders above his rivals on this campaign, leading the FedEx Cup standings for the large majority of the campaign, before being crowned champion with victory at the Tour Championship. The win was his seventh on the PGA Tour this campaign, alongside the Masters and Players Championship, as well as a group of Signature Events.

 

r Money List, but this has not stopped Scheffler from moving up into third spot. Away from his bonus payouts, the No. 1 golfer in the world has still managed to bank just short of £23 million in tournament prize money this campaign.

This has seen him edge past was one of the Tour’s greatest players, in 17-time champion and former US Open winner Jim Furyk, with his official tally now almost £55 million, ($71,793,586) around £100,000 ahead of Furyk having played over 500 PGA Tour tournaments less.

The only two names ahead of Scheffler in the list is Rory McIlroy in second and Tiger Woods in first, but with his young age, remarkable talent and continuously growing tournament purses, he will no doubt have his sights on chasing down the two greats ahead of him. Scheffler’s move up the list has been aided by LIV Golf though.
