Ferrari has ended its long-standing F1 partnership after signing a massive deal with its rival.

Het Prancing Horse is officially saying goodbye to its non-alcoholic beer brand Estrella Galicia 0.0, with its sponsorship ending next season. In January 2023, Ferrari announced a new brewing partnership with Asahi Europe & International, owner of rival Estrella Peroni.

The partnership with Estrella began in 2021 and coincided with Carlos Sainz joining the Ferrari team. Estrella Galicia not only became Ferrari’s partner, but also volunteered to celebrate Sainz’s victory.

This included Sainz’s victory at the 2022 British Grand Prix, which broke Red Bull’s dominance. With Red Bull so dominant in the 2023 season, Sainz is the only Red Bull driver to win, surpassing Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez’ potential 22-match winning streak.

Ferrari expressed its gratitude to Estrella.

“Three memorable seasons and great collaborations. Ferrari posted a video of Sainz drinking after the win on his social media with the message “Thank you very much”.

With this announcement, Ferrari bid farewell to Estrella Galicia, whose future in Formula 1 will continue for many years to come.
