Another tour featuring the world’s best golfers is coming up and fans know who will be playing.
TGL announces the roster for the inaugural TGL, a virtual golf league led by Tigers Woods and Rory McIlroy, starting in January 2025. Many famous athletes have invested in the league, including Stephen Curry, Lewis Hamilton, Shohei Ohtani, Josh Allen, and Serena Williams.
Woods, the Jupiter Links GC captain, announced Monday that he will be joined by six-time PGA Tour winner Max Homa, Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner. “I have previously shared my enthusiasm and optimism for TGL as a league and as a product,” Woods said in a statement. “Now that we have completed our roster with a group of world-class golfers, we are even more confident that this group will proudly represent the Jupiter (Florida) region and connect with our fans for years to come.”
The first three games of TGL will be held the first three Tuesdays in January and will be broadcast live on ESPN from the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The remaining schedule for the six-team league will be announced at a later date. Here’s an overview of the other teams in the league: :
