Tiger Woods’ TGL Team Members Named, Logo Revealed

The Team Name is Jupiter Links Golf Club, and the team, in addition to Woods, includes Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner.

“I have already shared my excitement and optimism for TGL as a league and product,” Woods said in a prepared statement. “Now that we have finalized our roster with a team of world-class golfers, I am even more confident that this group will proudly represent the Jupiter area and connect with our fans for years to come.”

Max Homa recently played with Woods at the Masters. Homa has represented the U.S. for team golf three different times, in the 2023 Ryder Cup, in the 2022 Presidents Cup, and at the 2013 Walker Cup. He also won the 2021 Genesis Invitational, a tournament hosted by Woods. At No. 9 in the world rankings, he is the top-ranked player on the Jupiter Links Golf Club team.

“Following Tiger’s career is one of the main reasons that I became an avid golfer. I remember watching him win the 1997 Masters, and now getting to play alongside him has been amazing,” Homa said in a prepared statement. “It’s really exciting to call Tiger, Tom, and Kevin teammates.”

Tom Kim became the star of the International Presidents Cup team in the last playing of the contest with his enthusiasm and energy. Kim is currently No. 23 in the world golf rankings.  His first victory was at the 2022 Wyndham Championship, which made him the second-youngest winner on the PGA Tour since World War II, second only to Jordan Spieth (2013 John Deere Classic). Kim set another record when he won his third title, the 2023 Shriners Children’s Open. He became the youngest three-time PGA Tour winner.

“I am so excited about playing in the TGL format with this group of guys. Obviously, I grew up inspired by Tiger Woods, but Max and Kevin are two of my favorite guys out on Tour. Both are genuinely good guys, but both also have a similar competitive fire.” Kim said in his statement.

Kisner is a four-time PGA TOUR Champion and two-time U.S. Team participant in the Presidents Cup. Recently, he appeared as an analyst for NBC Sports on several PGA TOUR broadcasts.

“I feel very privileged to have played in the Tiger Era. Having the opportunity to compete against and alongside the GOAT has been one of the things I’ll remember most at the end of my career,” Kisner said in a prepared statement. “While I know we will have a lot of fun as a team with me, Tiger, Max and Tom, I also know when Tiger’s competitive fire kicks in, we are going to be ready to play and win. This is the perfect team to bring both fun and competition together at the same time. Can’t wait.”

The team also debuted the new Jupiter Links Golf Club logo, which is a red circle with a dark navy palm tree, white lettering, and a flag outlined in white flying from the palm tree trunk.

According to the team, the logo for Jupiter Links Golf Club “brings to life the vibrant energy of Jupiter with the Palm Flag, signature element combining beach and golf lifestyle with a golf pin flag and palm tree.”

The script lettering is a nod to Tiger’s signature while the palm branches breaking the red circle represent the rising sun on the horizon. The three sections of the pin, which is also the trunk of the palm, signify the three Jupiter Links GC golfers who play at each TGL match.

The primary color is Tiger Red which, according to the team, represents “Tiger’s bold signature Sunday uniform.” It is highlighted with an off-white that the team referred to as the color of beach sand, representing the “Florida beach vibe.”

TGL is part of TMRW Sports, founded by Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Mike McCarley. The new high-tech TGL Golf events, featuring competition from several teams, are set to air in prime time on January 7, 2025, on ESPN.

TGL presented by SoFi was supposed to debut in January of this year, but a freak storm in Palm Beach County in November of 2023 damaged the roof of the SoFi stadium beyond repair. It was decided to wait an additional 12 months to reinforce the structure. A drone captured the damage.

According to the Woods organization, the TGR brand unites Tiger’s entrepreneurial and philanthropic endeavors off the course under a single-pare
